Ellie’s Moana-themed birthday party was as magical as the heart of Te Fiti.
We Know The Way. . . to a Moana Party
Full disclosure: I did not take (most of) the photos in this blog. That credit goes to the truly incredible Laura K. Allen Photography. There’s just something about my only baby turning two that felt like an even bigger milestone than one. . . is that just me? Like, she finally had an actual personality! (Ellie, not Laura. Laura always has personality.) So I wanted to live in the moment and have my beautiful friend capture it all.
10 Things You Need For a Moana Birthday Party
I’m not sponsored by any of our vendors, but some details of Ellie’s Moana birthday party included:
Invitation: Bloomberry Designs
Hawaiian leis at the entrance for guests
Strawberry and pineapple fruit tray from Publix
Party punch recipe from Laura’s Crafty Life in a drink dispenser from Crate & Barrel
Tropical tiki hut bar topper from Oriental Trading
Balloon arch kit from Amazon
Cake: my talented friend Ashley (everyone should have a friend like her who bakes and is also a perfectionist/wizardress)
Cookies: Cookies: Treats Styled By VIS
Moana cardboard standup: Amazon
Candles: Quick Candles
Oh, and then: a fire truck showed up! I mean, we knew the party was hot but this wasn’t planned. Our neighborhood cul-de-sac turned into a water park thanks to the local firefighters and I’m pretty sure Ellie had the time of her two-year-old life. Not sure how we’ll top that this year but we’ll try!
