I’ve had the distinct honor of snapping photos all over Nashville of Kahla, Justin, Hazel and Milo for several years. You can see how their family has grown here. One of my favorite places to take pictures of them is in their gorgeous home!
The lighting on their back deck is the stuff dreams are made of!
When their firstborn, Hazel, turned one year old, they had me over to do a fun baby photo shoot in the living room. The house was still empty because they were just about to move in.
So when it was their secondborn Milo’s turn, we decided to do the same thing. An in-home baby’s first birthday session during a global pandemic was pretty perfect, anyway!
The thing about this family is they take their Polish roots very seriously. Specifically in the form of pierogies. I mean, Kahla legit wore a pierogi headpiece on the dance floor at their wedding. So it should surprise no one that for our in-home photography session Kahla made pierogis. She also made an adorable pierogi-themed onesie for Milo to wear.
I love this family and I’m so thankful they have me back year after year to take pictures of their babies—who are becoming less “baby” by the day.
