Outdoor Photoshoot Locations in Downtown Nashville
Downtown Nashville has captured the interest of tourists, musicians, journalists, and—of course—bachlorette parties from all over the country. Whether you’re new to town or a seasoned local photographer, the downtown area offers several iconic photoshoot options. Here are my top three:
Honky tonks and Lower Broadway
You’ll have to pay to park anywhere on Lower Broadway. However, on non-game days you can generally park for free at the Titans’ Nissan stadium—Lot R—and walk to all three locations I listed above.
The Pedestrian Bridge is a special favorite of mine for headshots… and I’ve been known to sneak up to the rooftop of Twelve Thirty Club or L.A. Jackson for some truly iconic shots.
The Steps at Percy Warner Park
Location: Belle Meade Blvd, Nashville, TN 37221
Percy Warner Park is a local favorite because the lawns are pristinely manicured and its walking trails are dog-friendly. Taylor Swift enjoys it, too!
The steps offer a unique backdrop for family photos, and the golden hour is breathtaking. If you do want to catch some shots during golden hour, I suggest bumping your photoshoot time up 20-30 minutes before the typical hour-before-sunset. That’s because treeline cuts into your light a bit early.
Centennial Park
Location: 2500 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203
Centennial Park was a Nashville hot spot long before Taylor Swift immortalized it in her song, Invisible String, but her shout-out did prompt Mayor John Cooper to add a bench in her honor in 2023. (If you’d like a photo with Taylor Swift’s bench, just be prepared to wait a few minutes in line among other Swifties.)
The bigger attraction at this sprawling outdoor park is a replica of the Parthenon. Nashville’s Parthenon is a perfect photoshoot location for engagement shoots, family photos, and more.
Beyond these monuments, Centennial Park is dog-friendly and features a beautiful pond you can walk around, gorgeous flowers and unique trees, public restrooms, and plenty of grass to picnic and play.
Arrington Vineyards
Location: 6211 Patton Road, Franklin, TN
If you have an extra 35 minutes to get outside of Nashville proper, I promise it will be worth it to take in some moments and wine at Arrington Vineyards. This place is, hands down, my favorite outdoor photoshoot location in Nashville—especially during golden hour.

Ellington Agricultural Center
