Arrington Vineyards is one of my favorite locations in general, not just for photography. I haven’t met a wine there I don’t like, and it’s nice to go somewhere where adults can do adult things (drink wine) and kids can do kid things (run around).
Fall is probably my favorite time of year to be at Arrington, but there are perks to going in the summer, too—like their seasonal frosé! No matter the season, Kix Brooks’ (of Brooks & Dunn) vineyard south of Nashville is an idyllic location for your family portrait session.
Reasons to book your photo session at Arrington Vineyards:
· You can make a day of it and enjoy some wine before, after, or even during your shoot
· There are a variety of backdrops and aesthetics you can choose from, depending on the coloring and vibe you’re going for
· There are beautiful options for your photos any time of the year (see seasonal galleries below)
· It’s especially convenient for clients south of Nashville
· My favorite golden hour of any location in the area
· Free parking
Arrington Vineyards in the Spring & Summer
As you can see, for summer shoots I opt for my shady location in the trees. It keeps everyone cool and happy. These are taken on the “barn side” of Arrington off of Cox Road. That side of the vineyard is only open on the weekends, so in order to access it, we need to schedule your session on a Friday,
There is a shady option on the main winery side under some trees as well, where you can get the barrels in the background for some nice and rustic dimension (pictured below).
Arrington Vineyards in the Fall & Winter
For fall shoots, I definitely like to shoot on the “barn side” off of Cox Road. The main winery side is fine, but you miss out on these breathtaking colors from the leaves!
Arrington Vineyards is located at 6211 Patton Road in Arrington, Tennessee.
I’d love to schedule a session with you and your family. I’m usually booked out about a month in advance, so contact me today!
